J.J. is a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science and certification in computer technology. He has 19 years experience with Rogers Marketing and Printing. J.J. has over 7 years experience in the educational and training field, most of which was spent teaching 3rd grade in Plainfield. As well as teaching he also coached freshman baseball and basketball at PHS.

JJ has one son, Carson, and his wife's name is Jacki.
